How we’ve grown

Practice by practice, year by year — growth that protects what makes each location special.

  1. The Origin

    Westminster Eye Care Associates

WeCare Eye Group grew from Westminster Eye Care Associates in downtown Providence — the original practice where Dr. John Ormando and Dr. Scott Colonna built a community-first model of eye care.

  2. 2019

    College Hill joins the network

College Hill Eye & Optical, serving the East Side of Providence, becomes the first practice to join the growing group.

  3. 2021

    Smithfield joins the network

Smithfield Eye & Optical in Greenville extends the network into suburban Rhode Island.

  4. 2023

    Cranston and North Providence join

Two established community practices — Cranston Eye & Optical and North Providence Eye & Optical — join in the same year, deepening the group’s Rhode Island roots.

  5. 2024

    Expansion into Pennsylvania

Ardmore Eye & Optical on Philadelphia’s Main Line brings the network into a second state.

  6. Today

A six-practice network — and room to keep building thoughtfully

Six community practices across Rhode Island and Pennsylvania share leadership, resources, and a long-term commitment to the people who make each practice special.
